Pardon Me!

Thanks to everyone who worked for my release from the slammer. cody bear called the governor and I was given a pardon, so no parole. A clean slate. Today is the first day of the rest of my fabulous life!

I know I looked really mad in my picture in my last post. I wasn’t! How did I look so convincing? What does John Lovitz say…ACTING!!! I am a Corgi Method actor, and worked really hard to stay in character.

So I have been enjoying the sunshine outside. My owner is an avid “lazy fair” gardener, as the French say. Here’s some plants in his garden that are doing well. goodbear publishes such nice desert plants in her blog, I thought I would post some midwestern stuff:

This is a nice plant my owner calls a net-L. Doesn’t look like an L-shaped net to me.

.

This one I call the candy hearts plant.

.

And last, a maple tree that is Japanese. Japan is a country near Indiana, I believe.

To all my friends and visitors, I say,

“HAPPY DAY!”

well, you have been rehabilitated. great acting. you’ve nailed the prison genre, comedy AND fake fight. next….a love story perhaps? or film noir?

i love your owners plants! i MUST have the candy hearts plant!!!! is it in a pot….or is it a shrubbery?

My owner said that the candy hearts plant is really called “Bleeding Heart” a type of dicentra, whatever that is. It is stuck in the ground. “The Knights of Nik demand……a shrubbery!!!” Sorry, had to do that.

Thanks for your kind comments on my acting. No one can say I’m typecast! Maybe my next project will be a Cardigan remake of 400 Blows… waddaya think?

i don’t know what the 400 blows is…

but i am so glad you knew that those knights demanded a shrubbery!

i have the candy hearts too!

MP&tHG is currently one of 11-year-old Jack’s favourite films. Especially the special feature, where we get to join the Flagellants and whack our foreheads with the DVD case.
Here’s a challenge, Checkers! Next time your human is enjoying a bag of chips, act like you’re not hungry!

Checkers, I love candy heart plants and I have a maple from Japan too. :)
Your picture there is the height of silliness. Have you attended the Lee Strasberg school of method acting? I love method acting and you are one of the best!!

Love the Japanese Maple! Beautiful trees, those. My chum is going to study in Japan next semester.
