Driver’s Ed

Today I realized that I’ll be old enough to get my learner’s permit soon, so I asked my owner if I could get in the driver’s seat just to get a feel for things.

I usually ride in the back, so this is really different. Wow, those pedals are far away! One’s gas and the other is breaks. Wonder why you would have a pedal to break things?

I think you use this round thing to steer. Feels pretty good!

He began to explain all the buttons and gauges and I began to get nervous, as evidenced by the length of my tongue. How am I gonna remember all this stuff?

I took a deep breath and remembered a saying, “Learn by doing.” I closed the door, told my owner to get in the passenger seat, and asked for the keys. He seemed reluctant. “Baby steps,” he said. “That’s enough for today.”

Darn!

It would seem driving might be a bit hazardous when you can’t see over the steering wheel, innit? Your owner would have to build up the pedals a bit as well I think. You look good in a car but should be limo-ed around like the celeb you truly are!

The tongue did get longer. Hehe You are so full of life Checkers!

Checkers, I sorry to have to say it, but allthough your build in an adorable way, it isn’t quite suitable for driving. I’d let the idea slip if I were you.

Saying that I must admidI’m sure you’d NEVER get a fine! Any officer looking into those beguiling blue eyes would melt at the spot!!!

despite being too small, and maybe not built for driving….you’ll probably drive better than britney spears!

i think you’ll find driving very liberating. you can go get your own kibble. drive around to pick up friends. go to the deli for your ham sammiches. much of that kind of stuff.

beep beep!

LOL! Great Post and georgeous dog

Maybe you could Duct Tape sticks to your legs to help reach the pedals…..

And where will you go first when you get your license — a Checkers drive-thru window?

(sorry. I kinda had to.)

(at least I didn’t say anything about driving a Checkers-ed Cab.)

Where did you position the kibble cup holders?
